Client Background:

The Waterproofer was contacted by a client dealing with wetness and dampness seeping through a block wall into their building, causing structural and comfort issues.

Challenges:

Persistent moisture infiltration compromised the building’s integrity and interior environment, necessitating a long-term solution.

Solution:

The Waterproofer proposed a two-step approach: first, sealing cracks with waterproofing crack injection resin, then applying an epoxy waterproof coating to the wall.

Process:

1. Crack Injection Resin: Identified cracks were injected with waterproofing resin, halting water penetration.

2. Epoxy Coating: The entire block wall received a waterproof epoxy coating system, comprised of multiple coats, preventing future dampness.

3. Warranty: The Waterproofer ensured the workmanship and materials with a full warranty, offering peace of mind to the client.

Outcome

The combined solution effectively sealed the block wall and floor slab, eliminating dampness and ensuring a dry interior environment, that could again be utilised.
